1Who we are
Zappy Tools is a free online platform providing PDF and image tools at zappy.tools. We are the data controller for information collected through our website.

2Data we collect
Files you upload
Tools that say they run in your browser process your file entirely on your device. It is never uploaded to us.
Other tools send your file to our server over an encrypted connection to do the work. Those files are deleted automatically within 1 hour. We do not read, index or analyze the contents of your files for any purpose.
Usage data
We automatically collect basic technical information when you visit our site, including:
- IP address (Google Analytics does not log or store it)
- Browser type and version
- Pages visited and time spent
- Device type (desktop or mobile)
- Referring URL
This data is used to understand how our tools are used and to improve performance. We do not use it to identify you personally.
Advertising data
We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as your IP address, browser and device details, and the pages you visit, so they can show and measure ads. See Advertising below.
Contact form data
If you send a message through our contact or feedback form, we collect your name and email address (if provided) to reply to you. This data is not shared with third parties.
3How we use your data
We use the data we collect for these purposes only:
- To process your files and deliver the result you asked for
- To monitor and improve the performance and reliability of our tools
- To show ads that keep every tool free, through Google AdSense
- To respond to support or feedback requests
- To detect and prevent abuse or malicious activity
- To comply with legal obligations
We never sell your personal data, and the contents of your files are never used for advertising or profiling.
4File processing and deletion
Every file you give Zappy Tools is:
- Processed only to perform the tool you chose
- Never accessed, read or reviewed by our team
- Deleted automatically within 1 hour
- Never used to train AI or machine learning models
Browser-based tools never upload your file at all. We do not keep any archive or backup of user files.
5Cookies

6Advertising
Zappy Tools is free because it shows ads served by Google AdSense.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

7Third-party services
We use these third-party services to run Zappy Tools:
- Hostinger — web hosting and server infrastructure
- Google Analytics — traffic analytics
- Google AdSense — advertising
None of these services receive the contents of your uploaded files.
9Your rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Erasure — request deletion of your personal data
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
- Objection — object to processing of your data
- Portability — receive your data in a structured format
- Withdraw consent — at any time, where processing is based on consent

10Data security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure or misuse. Our servers use SSL encryption, access controls and regular security monitoring. No system is 100% secure, so if a file is highly sensitive, consider whether any online service is right for it. 11Children's privacy
Zappy Tools is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Zappy Tools after changes means you accept the updated policy.
