Fair question. Here's the honest version.
Upload your PDF and every page appears as a thumbnail. Click the ones you want gone — they're marked with an X — then click Delete pages. The new file downloads immediately. There's no account, no watermark and no limit on how many pages or how often you do it.
Switch to the Type page numbers tab and enter a range such as 5-12, or mix them: 1, 3, 5-8, 12. That's far quicker than clicking forty thumbnails when you're cutting a whole section out of a long report. Commas separate individual pages, hyphens cover a range.
The thumbnails make this easy — blank pages show as empty white rectangles, so you can spot and click them in a few seconds. This is the usual cleanup after a double-sided scan where every other sheet came out blank. Work down the grid, click each empty one, then delete them all in one pass.
This page works in Safari on a Mac with nothing to install. Preview can also do it — open the PDF, show thumbnails in the sidebar, select a page and press delete — but Preview can't take a typed range, so removing pages 20 to 45 means a lot of shift-clicking. For a few pages Preview is fine; for a section, this is faster.
The PDF page order closes up automatically, so what was page 10 becomes page 8 if you removed two before it. Page numbers printed onto the page itself are part of the image or text and don't change — if you need those to match, add fresh ones with the page numbers tool afterwards.

Not directly — an encrypted PDF can't be read until the password is removed. Open it in the free Unlock PDF tool first, enter the password you already know, then delete pages from the unprotected copy. This only works for documents you have the password for.
